Use AI Edit > Paint to Edit feature to draw a mask on the designated area and perform generative fill.

It complements the prompt to edit feature, and is good for regenerating areas that’s hard to explain in words.

Step 1

Select the image you’d like to edit, click the AI edit button on the toolbar, then select paint to edit button.

Step 2

Draw directly on the areas that need changes. You can make multiple edits at the same time.

When to Use Paint to Edit vs. Prompt to Edit

Use Paint to Edit when:

  • The edited area is hard to explain in words
  • The target object to replace or remove is hard to explain
  • Multiple similar targets exist and you only want to change some of them

Use Prompt to Edit when:

  • Changing the color of a garment
  • Editing the length and fit of a garment
  • Changing model poses
  • Removing a clearly identifiable target
  • Adding objects to an identifiable area
  • Making multiple changes simultaneously
