Paint to Edit Image
Use AI Edit > Paint to Edit feature to draw a mask on the designated area and perform generative fill.
It complements the prompt to edit feature, and is good for regenerating areas that’s hard to explain in words.
Step 1
Select the image you’d like to edit, click the AI edit button on the toolbar, then select paint to edit button.
Step 2
Draw directly on the areas that need changes. You can make multiple edits at the same time.

Step 3
Select the desired number of output images from the dropdown to receive multiple options.
Step 4
Click the generate button, the result will show up on the History with the corresponding tools used on the upper left corner.
Step 5
Mouse over the image, you’ll see the toolbar on top. You can click the corresponding button to perform related operation.

When to Use Paint to Edit vs. Prompt to Edit
Use Paint to Edit when:
- The edited area is hard to explain in words
- The target object to replace or remove is hard to explain
- Multiple similar targets exist and you only want to change some of them
Use Prompt to Edit when:
- Changing the color of a garment
- Editing the length and fit of a garment
- Changing model poses
- Removing a clearly identifiable target
- Adding objects to an identifiable area
- Making multiple changes simultaneously
